On through years tended by many caring, dedicated hands to the present day. And finally the hopes and plans for the future as outlined by Terry Cook, current Celia Thaxter Garden Steward.

 In conjunction with “Appledore Revisited: Cigar Box Painting Returns to Celia’s Salon,” a benefit exhibition by SML Artist-in-Residence (AIR) artists at Portsmouth’s Hotel Thaxter, featuring contemporary cigar box paintings and framed studio works all either painted on or inspired by Appledore Island (info at www.appledorerevisited.com)
